Adrian
Adrian is a Black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Wayne Arandjelovic of Newport MMA.
Adrian has been training involved in martial arts for over 15 year, has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2012 and has been coaching since 2019. He is a qualified level 2 sports coach for Brazilian Jiujitsu. Like all of our coaches Adrian is DBS checked, first aid trained and safeguarding trained.
Adrian runs the Monday and Wednesday classes, along with the crash courses. You will almost always see him at the Saturday Open Mat.

Steve
Steve is a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Wayne Arandjelovic of Newport MMA but now predominantly trains under Cwmbran BJJ and Adrian Thomas
Steve has won many competitions throughout the UK. His accolades include winning the British BJJ open in 2023 and being ranked Number 1 Allstars competitor in his bracket for the year - 2024.
Steve competes less these days and instead is focussing on his coaching.
Steve runs the beginners classes on Thursday's as well as helping run the other classes. Like all of our coaches Steve is DBS checked, first aid trained and safeguarding trained.

Martin
Martin has over 30 years of Martial arts experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Thai Boxing. He has a purple belt under Wayne Arandjelovic of Newport MMA. He recently fought on Polaris uprising.
Martin teaches the no gi classes and offers 1to1 sessions.

John
John has been training in martial arts since 2007. Beginning his journey in MMMA before focussing on Brazilian Jiujitsu in 2012. John is currently a Purple Belt under Wayne Arandjelovic of Newport MMA.
As a coach, John is passionate about making jiujitsu engaging, accessible and enjoyable for everyone. His classes are built around task based games and problem solving activities that help students develop skills naturally while having fun.
John's approach creates a positive learning environment where even the grown ups can enjoy the process of improving jiujitsu.
