Lesson Explained
At your first lesson you will be given all appropriate forms to fill in and first lesson is free.
Please remove watches and jewellery, to prevent injury and tie hair up.
When you are ready to enter the mat area first check if the lesson has started, if it has then leave your shoes on the area next to the mat and walk around the back of the students and take your place in the line-up, beginners start at the back row.
You are encouraged to take a bottle of water into the class and leave it at the edge of the mat, also bring in Asthma inhalers or other medical aids you may require.
Your lesson will begin with a warmup session led by your coach followed by the lesson.
At the end of a lesson there is usually some sort of competitive sparring, this is not compulsory but is a good way to test what you have learnt.
If you wish to speak or to be excused, please make yourself know to the coach. Calling is acceptable but please be courteous of other students.
At the end of the lesson your coach will ask you to all line up, again beginners at the back with higher belts working forward making lines, starting with higher belts you will form a queue and each shake hands with each person.
The class will then be dismissed.
Classes can be paid per class or on a monthly basis via cash or card.
