This week we work from bottom half guard. People can find this position very different but it can be very helpful especially if your opponent is a lot bigger than you.
It is very similar to guard but allows you to get out from underneath your opponent and you can also lock your legs up which isn't always the case with full guard.
The drill this week is technical get up. This is a good option if your partner is backing away from your guard.
Never forget getting up is very often a viable option.
